THE AVENGERS

Tonight the team was assembled, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) had called upon the bravest and most courageous group of hero’s he knows and he used them to form an elite super group called “The Avengers.” Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson)  recruits: Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain American (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). The movie begins with Nick Fury checking on the Tesseract because there has been some unusual activity, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) appears in front of Fury and his team of operators, Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Dr. Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) have been controlled by Loki and they both help him in the re-opening of the portal from earth to Asgard.  The chemistry between the team of Avengers was perfect, they played off each other; Stark and Captain Rodgers were always bantering because they have a history between them (Tony’s father). I felt that Thor and The Hulk understood each other because of their size and how they conduct themselves while fighting. Loki, I have to say has been one of the best villains thus far, he knew how to get under their skin and destroy the elite team within. The script was fantastic, which allowed some witty comments from Tony Stark, and a very sarcastic Hulk. It was filled with action packed fun for the whole family!
